The creative process starts with a meeting to establish our relationship and determine the overall scope of the project. Once the project has been assigned, Zagaroli and Company investigates the feel and character of the products. After compiling various materials and points of inspiration, we begin sketching. We create multiple sketches to develop the overall idea, then refine the sketches to create a format that is hand-rendered for presentation.
Once the concept clears the initial approval stage, sketches move to the engineering phase. Using AutoCAD, we develop multiple views of the pieces, including components and specifications needed to successfully manufacture the product. Some compromises can be made at this phase, depending on various factory requirements.
After the first samples are made, Zagaroli and Company will review them with the client and manufacturer to ensure that the products were made as intended. Final visual changes and material specification revisions will be made. At this point, the client will continue to prepare to introduce their new development at the appropriate trade show or market.
